Ingredients
- ¾ cup butter, softened
- 1 ½ cups (12 ounces) sour cream
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 teapoons vanilla
- ½ teaspoon almond extract
- 6 ripe medium bananas, mashed
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 4 ½ cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¾ cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325° F. Grease and flour two 9x5-inch loaf pans.
- Cream butter and sugar in large bowl with mixer.
- Add eggs, sour cream, vanilla and almond extract; mix well.
- Add bananas and mix.
- Combine dry ingredients and add to bowl; mix until just combined.
- Stir in pecans.
- Pour into pans and bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool 5 minutes; remove from pan and move to wire rack to cool completely.
