Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup (4 ounces) butter, melted
- Ice cream for serving
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Coat 11x7-inch pan or casserole dish with cooking spray.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar and baking powder.
- Add milk, vanilla, and butter and mix with whisk or mixer; pour into pan.
- Evenly pour cherry pie filling on top of flour mixture. With a knife, swirl flour mixture together with cherries.
- Cook for 45 to 55 minutes or until edges are golden brown and center is set.
- Serve with ice cream, if desired.
