Ingredients
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup (4 ounces) butter, melted
  • Ice cream for serving
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Coat 11x7-inch pan or casserole dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar and baking powder.
  3. Add milk, vanilla, and butter and mix with whisk or mixer; pour into pan.
  4. Evenly pour cherry pie filling on top of flour mixture. With a knife, swirl flour mixture together with cherries.
  5. Cook for 45 to 55 minutes or until edges are golden brown and center is set.
  6. Serve with ice cream, if desired.
