Ingredients
  • 4 cups milk, divided
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons condensed milk
  • 1 cup white rice
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • ½ cup seedless raisins
  • Cinnamon for dusting
  • Cinnamon chips for garnish
     
Instructions
  1. In a large saucepan over low heat, combine rice, 3 cups milk and cinnamon sticks.
  2. Stir frequently, adding the remaining 1 cup of milk gradually until rice softens, about 30-35 minutes.
  3. When rice is cooked and most of the milk is absorbed, add sugar, condensed milk, butter, and raisins. Stir until thickened, then remove from heat.
  4. Transfer to a large baking dish and let cool.
  5. Serve cold, garnished with cinnamon chips and a dusting of cinnamon. Pair with fresh or canned fruit.
