Ingredients
- 4 cups milk, divided
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 4 tablespoons condensed milk
- 1 cup white rice
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- ½ cup seedless raisins
- Cinnamon for dusting
- Cinnamon chips for garnish
Instructions
- In a large saucepan over low heat, combine rice, 3 cups milk and cinnamon sticks.
- Stir frequently, adding the remaining 1 cup of milk gradually until rice softens, about 30-35 minutes.
- When rice is cooked and most of the milk is absorbed, add sugar, condensed milk, butter, and raisins. Stir until thickened, then remove from heat.
- Transfer to a large baking dish and let cool.
- Serve cold, garnished with cinnamon chips and a dusting of cinnamon. Pair with fresh or canned fruit.
